Baldur's Gate 3 finally gets a Japanese language option with the recent Hotfix #15. It also resolves issues with gameplay, graphics, crashes, and blockers that were lingering from Update #4.

Larian Studios raked in awards this 2023, but the acclaimed game developer is not resting on its laurels. The team led by Swen Vincke continues to address the technical issues affecting BG3's gameplay experience since its launch, as well as the newly reported glitches from players after Update Patch #4 and Patch #5.

Larian Studios released Hotfix #15 and shared the news through the official Baldur's Gate 3 social media channels.

One of the key inclusions with this update to BG3 is adding Japanese language to the game. Given how big the roleplaying game audience is in Japan, Japanese language support would help push the Dungeons & Dragons CRPG to the forefront.

One caveat is that it is not available for the Xbox consoles. For the meantime, only the PC and Playstation 5 versions will have the Japanese language option, but Larian Studios promises this will be added to all versions of Baldur's Gate 3 soon enough.
