Ubisoft has been awfully quiet about Assassin's Creed: Mirage. The studio promised that the game is coming out this year but it hasn't shared a release date for the upcoming installment even as we near the middle of 2023.
Newly leaked information shared via Reddit reveals that Assassin's Creed: Mirage is closer to launch than many expect.
According to the leak, the newest Assassin's Creed title is coming in August.
The leaker claims to be an employee of GameStop and shares that they have seen marketing material for Mirage. The user assured that they work at the video game retailer and challenges moderators to verify with them, saying: I work at a GameStop (mods can verify with me if they want) and our computer has marketing for upcoming games, including Assassin's Creed Mirage, which doesn't have a release date yet. The GameStop leaker has information on the release dates of upcoming games.
Assassin's Creed: Mirage was announced during the Ubisoft Forward in September 2022 alongside several other titles for the action-adventure stealth video game series. Ubisoft shared that Basim will be the protagonist of the upcoming title and it will be set in Baghdad.
