Fans have been waiting for additional info about Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon but it’s been a while since FromSoftware gave us an update on the game. The last we heard, Armored Core 6 was rated in Korea, which implies that a release date is coming soon.
Now, a new rumor suggests we will get a new trailer for Armored Core 6 soon with the release date potentially coming alongside it.
A well-known Chinese gaming leaker on the a9vg forums shared the rumor that a new trailer will be released on April 28th. According to a ResetERA forum post, the user who shared the information has correctly predicted the launch date for God of War Ragnarok’s New Game Plus mode.
Even without the leaked information, there have been signs that FromSoftware is going to showcase the game very soon. A new concept art from the upcoming Mecha game made rounds on the internet last week.

Industry insider Okami Games notes that Armored Core 6 found in the Microsoft Store has a version number of 2.1.0.1. The insider says that it is strange for a pre-release version of the game to have that version number. FromSoftware may already have a complete game build that has been patched to address issues hence the weird version number.
Okami Games is confident that the game will be making a 2023 release as scheduled. There are rumors that the game will release around late September to early October.
FromSoftware is also working on the upcoming DLC for Elden Ring. The new expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, was recently announced by the studio, and players are excited about its release.
Fans of Elden Ring are waiting for the release of Armored Core 6 as it precedes the release date of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. It will be the first expansion for the best-selling and multi-awarded action RPG from the studio. Rumors suggest that the upcoming expansion will arrive about a month after Fires of Rubicon. If the leaked information holds, we may see the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion arrives sometime between late October to mid-November.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is coming to the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S later this year.
