Are we getting a new Silent Hill showcase this May?

In a later tweet, Dusk Golem asked followers which of the Silent Hill projects they think will debut first, one of the Silent Hill projects or the Separate Ways DLC for the Resident Evil 4 Remake. The majority (83.1%) believed the Silent Hill 2 Remake is coming out soon while plenty (61.7%) believe that the Separate Ways DLC for the Resident Evil 4 Remake will be announced on or before the Summer Game Fest.

Dusk Golem has a proven track record of knowing things that the rest of us don't, so while this is purely speculatively at the moment, you might as well expect to hear more about Konami's ongoing Silent Hill-related machinations.

Besides, it's not like Dusk Golem is the only one that alluded to the event. The host of last year's Silent Hill Transmission was spotted heavily hinting at a Silent Hill showcase at the end of the month before scrubbing the tweet off the face of the internet.

In any case, while we'd love to hear more about the Silent Hill 2 Remake as soon as possible, we don't blame Bloober Team if it's taking its sweet time with it. Konami and Bloober Team are well aware of the dangers of rushing games out to market, especially in light of the recent developments. Both would probably rather risk "delaying" the official reveal date announcement of the Silent Hill 2 Remake than risk angering fans further by releasing an incomplete game.

TLDR; watch out for Pyramid Head and the bandaged nurses to read their horrifying heads in a still-unspecified event in a few weeks or so.
