DC Studios is in the midst of a massive overhaul as it recasts some of its most recognizable superheroes. One actor who is surely staying with DC is Aquaman star, Jason Momoa. However, it's not certain he's coming back as Aquaman or playing another character in the DC Universe. But, while we don't know what's in store for Momoa, he might have just let it slip that he'll be staying on board as the DCU's Arthur Curry for the foreseeable future.
Momoa met with James Gunn and Peter Safran last week and the actor appears to have left the studio in a cheerful mood as he teased he'll be staying for four more years with DC and Warner Bros. Discovery. The actor did not reveal what his next project would be for the franchise.
During a recent interview with Variety, the actor reluctantly teased Aquaman 3 after being asked if the third movie will be "a fun fish tale" as opposed to the intense tone of his upcoming documentary Deep Rising. Momoa responds, "I highly doubt it. I'm too dramatic."
