In Hogwarts Legacy, you will find Demiguise statues holding a moon-shaped ball. After completing the main story quest, The Caretaker's Lunar Lament, you can collect these moon-shaped balls. During the quest, you will meet Gladwin Moon, who teaches you the unlocking charm, Alohomora.
This unlocking charm can be used to access areas that are otherwise locked. The first Alohomora you get will open level one locks. However, some locked doors require levels two and three. To upgrade your Alohomora charm to levels two and three, you must bring 9 and 13 Demiguise statues to Gladwin Moon, respectively.
You will find a total of 30 Demiguise statues scattered in Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and Highlands. While collecting the Demiguise statues, we've collected the most easily accessible Demisguise statues first, so that you can upgrade your Alohomora charm as soon as possible. This will allow you to avoid unnecessary obstacles of not having level two or level three Alohomora charm when needed.
Whenever you have nine Demiguise statue moons, return to Gladwin Moon and give the statue moons to him to get your first upgrade. Continue collecting again, and as soon as you have at least 13, return those to Gladwin Moon to get the third and final upgrade of Alohomora. You can always go to Hogsmeade or the Highlands to collect the Demiguise statues that are easily accessible, out in the open or locked behind a level one lock to return them to Gladwin Moon and upgrade your Alohomora before collecting the ones locked behind level two and three. Just remember to mark them down.
You can only collect the Demiguise statues at night time. So always make sure to change the time of day to night before you start hunting them. You can easily do so by going to your map and waiting by pressing the right analog stick or the 'F' key on your keyboard.
Hogwarts Legacy - All Potions Guide (recipes, Ingredients & Locations)
There are 10 Demiguise statues in Hogwarts, nine Demiguise statues in Hogsmeade, and 11 Demiguise statues in the Highlands. Collecting them as early possible is a good practice as you will come across a lot of areas that may require different levels of Alohomora spell to access loot locked behind doors.
Important
: Before we get into the locations, learning how navigation works in Hogwarts Legacy is also important. Hogwarts has several wings and main locations with a 'Flag' icon.
When you click on these 'Flags,' it will show Floo Flames (fast travel points) to different locations within those main wings and areas. For instance, if the guide tells you to go to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom in the Astronomy Wing. You must zoom into the Astronomy Wing flag and select the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom floo flame fast travel point.
You can also see the list of all areas and floo flames on the left side of the map, which you can easily click on to navigate to that area.
Hogwarts
Professor Fig's Classroom
First, go to Professor Fig's Classroom floo flame point in the Astronomy Wing.
As soon as you load in, you will see the classroom directly ahead of you.
Head inside and you will see his office at the end of the classroom.
Go inside the office, and you will find the Demiguise statue on a small table by the fireplace.
Muggles Studies Classroom
To get to the statue which is in the Muggles Studies Classroom, you need to first fast travel to the Transfiguration Classroom floo flame in the Asronomy Wing.
Turn around and you will notice a huge door to your left. Go through the door.
When you go through the door, you will notice a large set of stairs to your right. Go downstairs.
At the very bottom, you will find a small door.
Go through the door and keep going downstairs until you see a dragon statue.
From here, turn right and continue moving forward. You will find a level one locked door to your left.
Use Alohomora to unlock the door and find the Demiguise statue inside the room.
Hogwarts North Exit
Next, fast travel to Hogwarts North Exit floo flame in the Bell Tower Wing.
Turn around and go left after entering the castle walls. You will notice a small set of stairs going up to a small tower but with a small door beside it.
The door has a level one lock on it. Use Alohomora to unlock it and enter.
Enter the room and you will find a Demiguise directly in front of you on a crate.
Divination Classroom
Fast travel to the Divination Classroom floo flame in the Library Annex.
Go upstairs, and you will come across a ladder that automatically falls for you to go to the classroom.
When you reach the classroom, you will find the Demiguise statue to your right.
Restricted Section
Fast travel to the Library floo flame in the Library Annex.
When you fast travel to the floo flame, turn around, and you will see a fenced area in the distance.
Go through the door and you will find some stairs that take you to the lower level of the restricted area.
Keep going down and forward through several rooms.
Once at the bottom, keep going forward, and you will eventually come across the Demiguise statue in a small corridor.
The Great Hall
Go to the Great Hall floo flame in the Great Hall.
Straight ahead, you will notice a room to your right.
Enter the office after unlocking and you will find the Demiguise directly ahead of you on a small table.
South Wing Bathroom
The Demiguise is in a secret locked room inside of a locked bathroom in the South Wing. First, fast travel to the Faculty Tower in the South Wing.
From here, go straight ahead until you see some stairs that take you downstairs.
Go downstairs and go through the corridor with different musical paintings.
When you reach the end, turn right and go down a small set of stairs and continue going left.
After turning left, you will find two doors. The second door to your left will be locked with a level one lock.
Unlock it using the Alohomora, and enter. Go inside the middle stall.
There will be a secret room behind the stall with the Demiguise statue in it.
Gargoyle Room
For this Demiguise fast travel to the Transfiguration Courtyard floo flame in the Astronomy Wing.
When you get there, look behind you to find a large door that takes you to the Defence Against the Dark Arts tower.
When you get inside, you will find a level two locked door to your right.
Unlock the door using your Alohomora spell and enter. You will find the Demiguise statue inside.
Professor Howin's Office
The next one is inside Professor Howin's office. For this, fast travel to the Beasts Classroom floo flame in the Bell Tower Wing.
Enter Professor Howin's office, which is directly next to the floo flame.
You will find the Demiguise statue on a small round table deeper into her office next to the bed.
Storage Room
Fast travel to Potions Classroom floo flame in the Library Annex.
Go through a double door ahead of you after fast traveling.
After you go through the door, you will find a spiral staircase going downstairs to your left.
Continue going through the corridor until you come across a level one locked door to your left. Open it and continue.
Continue running down the hallway until you see another locked door, but this time a level two locked door to your left.
Open the locked door and enter the storage room to find a Demiguise directly in front of you.

Hogsmeade
Tomes and Scrolls
The first Demiguise is inside the Tomes and Scrolls shop in Hogsmeade.
Head inside the shop and go to the backroom to find the Demiguise statue.
Alley House
There is a house in an alleyway near the Tomes and Scrolls in which you can find the next Demiguise statue.
The house is locked with a level two lock so make sure you've visited Gladwin Moon to return the collected Moons and upgraded your Alohomora.
Enter the house and go upstairs to find the Demiguise statue to your immediate left.
Hog's Head
The next one is inside Hog's Head.
Head inside Hog's Head and go inside and go to the backroom directly behind the counter. You will find the Demiguise statue to your left.
J. Pippin's Potion House
The Demiguise inside a random house next to J. Pippin's Potions shop.
The house has a level two lock. Unlock the door and head inside. Go upstairs and you will find the Demiguise statue on the dresser.
Three Broomsticks
This Demiguise statue is inside the Three Broomsticks bar in Hogsmeade.
Head inside and go upstairs. You will get multiple stairs.
Keep going up until you come across a level one locked door at the very top.
Unlock the door and head inside to find a Demiguise statue on the table.
Three Broomsticks House
There is one Demiguide statue inside of a house next to the Three Broomsticks.
Unlock the door using Alohomora and head inside. Go upstairs to find the Demiguise statue on a small wooden crate.
Dervish and Banges
Go to Dervish and Banges located on the right side of Gladrags Wizardwear.
Head inside the store and you will find the Demiguise statue directly in front of you.
Brood and Peck House
The Demiguise statue is inside of a house directly in front of Brood and Peck in Hogsmeade.
Unlock the door and enter the house to find the Demiguise statue on a fireplace frame.
Honeydukes House
The next statue is inside of a house directly behind Honeydukes.
Unlock the door using Alohomora and enter to find the Demiguise statue on a small table.

The Highlands
Pitt-Upon-Ford
Fast travel to Pitt-Upon-Ford floo flame in the North Ford Bog region.
From the floor flame, take the pathway and go south tunil you come across a huge house to your right.
Go inside the house and go upstairs to find the Demiguise statue on the floor next to a lamp.
Upper Hogsfield
Go to the Upper Hogsfield floo flame in the northern part of Hogsmeade Valley.
After fast traveling to the location, head north and you will come across a house with a wheel by its door. Unlock the door and enter to find the Demiguise Statue inside.
Aranshire
Go to Aranshire which is located in the South Hogwarts Region. You will find the town directly east of Hogwarts.
The first house directly by the floor flame will have the demiguise statue.
Unlock the door and enter the house. Go upstairs to fin the Demiguise statue on the floor next to the bed.
Lower Hogsfield
Go to Lower Hogsfield which is also in the South Hogwarts Region and directly south of Hogwarts.
Go to the first house you see directly ahead of you. The house belongs to the same person who gives you a side quest of finding her son.
Enter the house and look at the ground by the door to find the demiguise statue.
Brocburrow
Make your way to Brocburrow which is a small town located in the north eastern part of Hogwarts Valley region.
Go to the house with an enchanted scarecrow in its garden. It will also have a Field Page Guide next to the enchanted scarecrow.
Unlock the house and enter to find the Demiguise statue on the floor to your immediate left.
Keenbridge
The next Demiguise statue is in Keenbridge which is also in Hogwarts Valley.
From the floo flame, take the path that takes you west. You will come across a house just over a fence. It will have a couple of pumpkins just outside the house.
The house will have a level one lock. Unlock the door using Alohomora and enter the house to find the Demiguise statue.
Feldcroft
The next Demiguise statue can be found in Feldcroft which is located in the Feldcroft region.
From the floo flame, go east and you will come across a small house.
Enter the house and you will find the Demiguise statue resting by the window to your left.
Irondale
Make your way to Irondale which is located in the southeast section of Feldcroft region.
When you fast travel to the floo flame, you will immediately notice a triangular shaped house to your right. It will also have an NPC named Althea Twiddle sitting right outside.
Enter the house and look behind the kitchen counter to find the Demiguise statue.
Marunweem
Go to the Marunweem floo flame fast travel point which is located in the Marunweem Lake region south of Poidsear Coast region.
Head northeast into the town from the floo flame and you can actually see the house with the Demigusie statue.
Enter the house and you will find the Demiguise statue on the floor behind the counter.
Bainburgh
Go to the hamlet of Bainburgh which is located in the northern section of the Manor Cape region.
From the floo flame turn left (northeast) and follow the path until you see the first house to your left.
Use Alohomora to unlock the door and enter the house. You will find the Demiguise statue inside.
Cragcroft
The final Demiguise statue can be found in Cragcroft which is located in the eastern part of the Cragcroftshire region.
Go to the center of the Cragcroft town (west of the floo flame) and then find a house by the vendor.
Enter the house and go upstairs to find the Demiguise statue.
