Many years after breaking up with 2K Sports and saying goodbye to the WWE 2K franchise, Yuke's is finally one step closer to releasing AEW: Fight Forever. The upcoming wrestling sim, which is being made in collaboration with All Elite Wrestling, is set to release sometime next year. Ahead of its launch, Yuke's as well as the game's publishers, THQ Nordic, dropped a brand-spanking new trailer for the game.
The gameplay trailer for AEW: Fight Forever shows Hangman, The Icon, MJF, and Thunder Rose, all facing off against each other. Yuke's has deliberately committed CM Punk from any promotional material from the game as well. Most likely, Yuke's did this at AEW's request after CM Punk's scuffle earlier this year, which put his future with the budding wrestling promotion in jeopardy.
The last we heard, Triple H is open to bringing CM Punk back, much to the behest of people in the backstage.
By the looks of it, the game has gone a long way in terms of polishing although we do have to admit that it could still use a lot more work.
