Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been a long time in the making. When the studio announced the title in 2021, it was to the delight of many fans who enjoyed the previous web-slinging adventure. Amid love pouring from fans and critics alike, the property became a hot prize for marketing collaborations – and Adidas is the latest to unveil a promo.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will finally arrive on the PlayStation 5 later this month. The game went gold last month, which was confirmation that it would arrive on the scheduled date. Ahead of its release, Adidas has unveiled a Peter Parker Advanced Suit and Venom collection.

The suit and shoe collection spot the iconic character’s red and blue colors as well as Adidas’s logo in white stripes. The collection includes the Adizero 12.0 football cleat, the Ultraboost J, and Ultra 4D sneakers. Apart from these, the collection also has sweatshirts and compression tights.
At the moment, we have no idea how much the collection will cost – but get ready for some heavy price tags. The items are limited edition though, so you can be sure they will sell out fast even if they’re expensive. If you want one, you should keep a tab on the Adidas website, mobile app, and stores on October 20 as that is when it will be released.
We’ve only seen a few pictures but they definitely hit the mark. We certainly can’t wait to get our hands on them and rock them on the streets and the football pitch. As a leading sportswear brand, Adidas’ suit and shoe collection seems intentioned to give athletes who are also Spider-Man fans an avenue to exhibit their nerdiness and celebrate their love for the character.
The suit and shoe collection is the second Spider-Man branded item in as many months. Last month, Sony revealed a limited edition Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 and Dual Sense controller. For die-hard fans of the web-slinging superhero, having the console and the drip is non-negotiable.
It is evident that Sony put a great deal of thought into each of the branded items from console to footwear. Even though they are more expensive than their unbranded counterparts, they’re worth the bragging rights that come with having Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 branded items for when you get into arguments with fellow fans – now that we consider priceless.
Even though Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a relatively short game – which, not gonna lie, in a world this busy and full of 200+ hour RPGs is a bonus even – it is a potential Game of the Year contender. There are high hopes for the title and, from the little we’ve heard, it lives up to the hype. Unfortunately, there is a review embargo in place and it won’t be lifted until October 16.
When this happens, we will have more information on the game and a more comprehensive idea of what to expect. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will swing onto the PlayStation 5 on October 20.
