PlayStation Productions is busy adapting Sony's biggest IPs to the big screen. One of the projects that was reportedly in development is a film adaptation of Gravity Rush, and in spite of a long period of silence new rumors indicate it might still be happening.
It was reported last year that PlayStation Productions and Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions were working on a film based on the 2012 action-adventure video game. Secret Society of Second Born Royals' Anna Mastro is attached to the Gravity Rush Project as director while Emily Jerome has been tasked with writing the script. No actor has been cast in the upcoming project as of writing.
PlayStation Production has been tight-lipped about Gravity Rush. However, a recent rumor posted on the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit suggests that Kat's scarf can be seen in the latest PlayStation Production mission statement video, hinting that the studio is working on the project. X user yangyang_1992 shared a screenshot of the said scarf in the advertisement.
Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit post said that the image of Kat's scarf corroborates a Gravity Rush Discord leak that said that the movie is still in development. According to the rumor, the script for the movie is already complete and we "might get some news soon."
