For the nth time since NieR: Automata was released, one-half of its pair of dangerously attractive combat androids is crossing over into another game, risqué outfit and all. This time, 2B is making her way to Granblue Fantasy Versus.

The collaboration introduces 2B as the first guest character in the fighting game sequel, blending the intricate combat style and design of the beloved android with the fantasy world ofGranblue.

2B's addition to the game was made official at the Granblue Fantasy Fes presentation in December, making her the second DLC character to join the roster. Available for $7.99 or the regional equivalent, the character set not only includes 2B but also a range of in-game items such as an avatar costume and a Yorha costume for Granblue Fantasy: Relink as well as the inclusion of the inverted 2P color scheme. Season pass owners receive automatic access to 2B, while others have the option to purchase her separately.

Believe it or not, 2B isn't usually available as a playable character in crossovers.

The character brings a complex and challenging moveset to the game, requiring players to adapt to her unique combat style. Unlike other characters, 2B does not have access to the 'dash light' attack and instead utilizes a special meter for her abilities. This mechanic introduces a strategic layer to playing as 2B, with stronger moves depleting more of the meter.
