Fans have been wondering if Zack Snyder would ever cross over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe now that his days as the DC Extended Universe's overseer are long gone. The director revealed that he would love to do a project with Marvel and is particularly keen on adapting one story arc from the comic books.

Snyder is one of the chief architects behind the now-defunct DC Extended Universe. The filmmaker directed arguably the most popular DC movie in Justice Leagueand its controversial director's cut. Snyder is currently working on Rebel Moon, a new space action franchise inspired by Star Wars which is coming to Netflix later this year.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Snyder was asked what DC and Marvel projects would he like to do. According to the director, he would want to make a film adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns if given the opportunity by DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn. As for Marvel, Snyder says that he would be open to working on a movie featuring Daredevil and Elektra and perhaps adapt Frank Miller's Elektra Lives Again.
