Game-related rumors and leaks are common in the entertainment industry and create a buzz for everyone involved, the insiders and the consumers alike. We've seen both fake and accurate data ahead of game releases for several years. Indeed, "leaks" and "insider" culture have taken over the internet recently.

There are numerous reliable and trustworthy insiders out there, but due to the actions of one individual, their credibility might also get jeopardized. One prominent insider, TheRealInsider, quickly gained popularity after leaking the Assassin's Creed Mirage ahead of Ubisoft Forward when the game was planned to be announced officially.

Given the reliability of this "insider information," TheRealInsider gained a massive following. When the game was officially revealed, there was no doubt that the account was trustworthy in the leaks department. However, it seems that this was not an insider's job but rather the result of breaking a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

In an accidental twitter reply, TheRealInsider's true identity was revealed as the author forgot to change their account before replying. It turns out, TheRealInsider is none other than a popular Australian Youtuber who goes by the name Dan Allen Gaming. Dan has over 189k subscribers (at the time of writing this article).
