Ronda Rousey has lived up to her nickname, Rowdy, on more than one occasion. But, if she had her way, it appears that the current SmackDown Women's Champion has a couple of ideas that would've made her namesake, the late Roddy Piper, hesitate.
Rousey recently revealed on her YouTube channel that she had something different in mind for her Extreme Rules match against Liv Morgan in Philadelphia.
Here's what Rousey said in her video: I pitched the finish to be on thumbtacks. She would put down the thumbstacks and powerbomb me on the thumbtacks and then as a repeat of our finish before, I would go for the armbar on the thumbtacks and they would start counting the pin. Then I would have to push up to my one shoulder. Like into the thumbtacks to keep the armbar... Live would be like biter her hand, trying not to tap out and pass out face down into the thumbstacks and have her hand protect the face.
They said we can't use thumbtacks anymore. That legally we can't like purposefully, like, injury people, like cut through skin and stuff. I don't know. https://youtu.be/yViYKPlzAHo
The anything-goes match eventually went the way of Rousey. She trapped Morgan using a triangle choke that wedged Morgan's head in between Rousey's shin, thigh, and a massive chunk of the broken table that eventually forced the referee to step in and award Rousey the win.
