What seemed to be a dollar store rip-off of Takeshi's Castle had taken the internet over by storm in 2021. Fall Guys: The Ultimate Knockout was a fresh twist on the now boring battle royale genre. Instead of killing each other, 60 players race in clumsy bean avatars with crooked controls to avoid getting knocked out. It's one of the few multiplayer games which is still fun even if you lose.

The game was originally released on PS4 and Microsoft Windows but later added to Android as well. However, Xbox and Switch players have been missing out on the fun. When the game took off, Mediatonic, the devs behind the game, had to say the following on their website: "To start with, Fall Guys will only be available on PS4 and Steam. We'd love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line. Please let us know on Twitter and Discord which platforms you'd like us to release on next – we'd love to see how much demand there is!

While the game later made a debut on Android, there's no word on an official Xbox and Switch release. The game garnered a ton of interest when it first came out, but over time, the player base has dwindled. It's not the developer's fault. If anything, the game has only improved since its launch. But the lack of presence on multiple platforms and change in trends have tarnished the game's reputation.

The game is quite popular in niche communities, but that's not to say that the devs aren't thinking about expansion. The official Twitter handle of Fall Guys put out a survey.
