Warner Bros. has released the trailer for its upcoming film Magic Mike's Last Dance, the third installment of Channing Tatum's Magic Mike series. According to reports, it will wrap up the franchise which began in 2012. The film follows on from 2015's Magic Mike XXL.

Magic Mike's Last Dance is shaping up to be an action-comedy film and will see Tatum reprise his role from the first two films as well as Steven Soderbergh's return to the director's seat. Soderbergh directed the first movie in the franchise but vacated the role for the second entry which Gregory Jacobs helmed.

The film series is loosely based on Tatum's life before he became a Hollywood star. The first film in the franchise tells the story of a young man, Michael "Magic Mike" Lane, and his struggle to quit his work as a stripper in Tampa and build another life. The film was a critical and commercial success and it grossed a whopping $167.2 million against a budget of $7 million.

The trailer of Magic Mike's Last Dance begins with Mike taking in the view of Miami's skyline while standing on a beach, then switches to show Mike bartending at a resort where he meets Salma Hayek's character.
