With the success of the animated shorts, Vin Diesel, the voice behind Groot, reveals that Marvel Studios wants to make a film based on Groot's homeworld called Planet X.
In an Instagram post, Diesel said "It was a blast making, but it's also a blast watching it with my angels. No wonder Marvel wants to make the Planet X movie." I am Groot Groot stars in his own animated short series called "I am Groot."
