As the dust settles on the thrilling cliffhanger ending of Fast X, we're left wanting to know more about what's next for Dom and his family. Now, the actor behind the franchise's long-time lead has finally shed light on when we might expect to see the presumably final film in the franchise in theaters. Hint: it's not close.
Vin Diesel recently went on Instagram to confirm that "part two" of the franchise's finale will hit screens on April 4, 2025.
As per Diesel, that's "22 months" from now, which should give Universal Pictures enough time to go under the hood and make sure that everything is in order before rolling out the film to give the series gets a fitting finale.
As the hardcore fans of the franchise know, the Fast and Furious universe has been a constant source of high-octane action and drama, as well as the unbreakable bonds of family and loyalty. Fast X has been no different, introducing a massive new threat in Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa). Reyes, hellbent on inflicting suffering on Dom Toretto and his family, managed to throw the entire team into jeopardy by the end of the movie.
