The people behind successful satirical websites are a special kind of genius and it's best to leave them alone. Otherwise, they can end up outwitting and outsmarting you at every corner, like what Hard Drive did with Elon Musk.
For those who don't know what Hard Drive is, it's a satirical video game website that pokes fun at the latest happenings in the video game industry.
It's safe to say that you should never take their articles seriously nor stir the hornet's nest, for that matter. But, for some reason, Musk, the richest guy in the world, decided that he could take on Hard Drive. The result? Pure and unadulterated "emotional damage!".
The feud started when the soon-to-be Twitter owner started stealing jokes and images off of Hard Drive in a series of since-deleted tweets. The sensible thing to do after a ruthless site calls you out is to apologize and say thanks.
Instead, Musk responded, and responded, and responded, which Hard Drive countered by publishing another article titled, "Elon Musk Admits He Wants To Travel To Mars Because No One Hates Him There Yet.
