Every Video Game Series Coming to Netflix in 2021

Riot Games has been slowly growing its brand over the past few years. In addition to more games than just League of Legends, Riot has explored other media as well. In particular, later in Fall 2021, Riot's first-ever League of Legends animated TV series, Arcane, is set to premiere on Netflix.

The series will revolve primarily around the sisters, Jinx and Vi, exploring their childhood and their relationship before they grew apart. The Witcher Season 2 It looks like Geralt's adopted daughter, Ciri, is slated to make an appearance in Season 2 of Netflix's The Witcher TV series.

With The Witcher already wrapped up its Season 2 production back in April, it was only a matter of time before Netflix released a trailer and a release date. Thankfully, Netflix delighted fans with the former, dropping a new trailer for Season 2. It was short, but it's more than enough to get fans excited for what's to come, especially now that Ciri has shown up, among the things.

In addition to the trailer, Netflix has also partnered with the developer of The Witcher games, CD Projekt RED, for WitcherCon, which is scheduled for July 9.

Hopefully, Netflix will announce a release date with a better trailer for Season 2 by then. Angry Birds: Summer Madness Unfortunately, more details about Angry Birds: Summer Madness were not revealed at the Netflix Geeked week.

Angry Birds: Summer Madness was first announced back in March 2020. Since then, Cake and Rovio Entertainment have been hard at work in making this video game adaptation come to life. The 40 x 11-minute episode series will reportedly take inspiration from the Angry Birds movies while also adding a fresh new look to the animated adaptation of the casual puzzle video game that was first released back in 2009.

Executive producer Adi Shankar is taking his talents from the Castlevania TV series to work on Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.

The six-episode series is reportedly an adaptation of the popular Far Cry 3 stand-alone expansion, Blood Dragon. Shanker compared Captain Laserhawk to Captain N: The Game Master in it that it will be a mash-up of multiple Ubisoft properties. In addition to Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, Ubisoft also announced that it is working on a Far Cry animated TV series. Resident Evil Live-Action Hopefully, there next time we hear about Netflix's Resident Evil live-action TV series, we get a release date.

Netflix gave Resident Evil fans their first look at the main cast of the Resident Evil live-action TV series that's set to premiere on Netflix. Although a release date was not announced, the on-point casting was enough to set fans on a frenzy. The main highlight of this all was Lance Reddick being confirmed as the series' most iconic antagonist, the sunglass-wearing Albert Wesker. Splinter Cell Here's to hoping that the success of the Splinter Cell animated TV series encouraged Ubisoft to start working on Splinter Cell games again.

After a long time of waiting, Netflix finally gave an update on the Splinter Cell animated series. Unfortunately, it won't be releasing anytime soon. But, if it's any consolation, we did find out that Derek Kolstad of John Wick fame will be the writer for the series.

According to Kolstad, the Splinter Cell animated series will follow Sam Fisher from one mission to another in self-contained seasons.

Yes. You read that right. We're not just talking about a one-off animated TV series here. Ubisoft and Netflix want to turn this into a multi-season animated TV series. Castlevania Spin-Off It'll be interesting to see what kind of demons and monsters Richter will encounter now that his father has defeated Death itself with Dracula also having seemingly retired.

Now that Season 4 of Castlevania is over, Netflix has its eyes set on the future, confirming that a Castlevania spin-off series is currently in development. The said spin-off will be set in 1792 in the middle of the French Revolution. It will follow the adventures of Trevor Belmont's son, Richter, as well as Sypha Belnades.

Unfortunately, while the latest trailer offered audiences their first glimpse of the upcoming animated show and confirmed Wayne Brady as the voice of King Dice, a release date was not confirmed.
