After confirming a slew of The Witcher and Cyberpunk-related projects, CDPR has saved the best for the last - it's remaking the original The Witcher in Unreal Engine 5.

CDPR first announced The Witcher Remake under the codename, Canis Majoris. But, this is the first time CDPR has pulled back the curtains on The Witcher Remake. To avoid spreading its resources thin across multiple high-profile projects, CDPR is working with the Polish studio, Fool's Theory, for the remake.

Unreal Engine The Witcher Remake

Fool's Theory had previously served as a support studio for People Can Fly on Outriders and Larian Studios on Baldurs Gate 3. In addition to The Witcher Remake, Fool's Theory is also working on Project Vitriol and Seven.
