Remember the rumored beef that Undertaker reportedly had with CM Punk back when he was with the WWE? Apparently, that wasn't true.
Undertaker joined Inside The Ropes to talk about his relationship with the former WWE and AEW world champion, saying:
He was great to work with. I'm very proud of that match [at WrestleMania 29]. We saw down and we thought about ideas and everything, it was great. I had no beef with Punk. He was always business with me and hopefully I was with him.
Punk had an extremely good run with the WWE in the early 2010s. After reigning as the WWE champion for 434 days, he'd tussle with the deadman, which culminated in a match at WrestleMania 29.
At the time, the Undertaker was still sporting his undefeated WrestleMania streak. This was central to the booking as Punk wanted to become the first (and only) wrestler to give Taker that L.
