Skull and Bones faces yet another delay in its release, and this time it's not alone in the shuffle. The oft-delayed pirate-themed adventure game is set to receive yet another new release schedule, one that will align it with another major, yet-to-be-named game.
Ubisoft stated in its most recent financial report that the new release date for Skull and Bones will be in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2023-2024. This means that the upcoming pirate game is coming sometime between January and March 2024. At this point, we cannot count the number of times that the release of Skull and Bones has been pushed back.
Alongside Skull and Bones, the first half financial report also mentions that it will not be releasing the "other large game" that is scheduled to come out at the end of the company's fiscal year. Many believe that the unnamed game is Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft's upcoming open-world action-adventure title.
Ubisoft also lists the titles that are arriving from now until the end of March 2024 which include Assassin's Creed Nexus VR, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Just Dance 2024 edition, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Ubisoft's free-to-play lineup includes Rainbox Six Mobile, The Division Resurgence, and XDefiant.
