Ubisoft+ is reportedly coming to Xbox soon – again

It's fair to say that what was initially anticipated as a thrilling development in the gaming industry has now transformed into banal news.

Ubisoft+ to Xbox has already been labeled as vaporware by the gaming community, and yet new reports suggest that the service is finally going to launch very soon.

According to rumors from a reputable insider, Ubisoft+ is coming to Xbox “imminently”. This comes from Jez Corden of Windows Central, who posted the news on Twitter. Since the subscription service is a part of PlayStation Plus Extra, one user was curious to know if this would also apply to Xbox Game Pass, to which Corden replied, “Not sure yet.”

Speculation regarding Ubisoft+ coming to Xbox surfaced in 2022, but despite persistent reports of its launch, none have come to fruition. Recently, The Nerd Stash, an entertainment website, disclosed that Ubisoft may be planning a low-key release of the service on April 13, coinciding with the XDefiant Beta launch. However, it’s worth noting that Ubisoft has not confirmed or verified any of this information.

Assassin’s Creed is Ubisoft’s best-selling franchise.

Should the pricey subscription service make its way to Xbox, it is likely that games such as the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Watch Dogs, and Far Cry 6 will experience a surge in both their sales and overall popularity.
