Amidst the flurry of quarterly financial reports and sales forecasts that have been revealed this week, Ubisoft has quietly laid down its gaming blueprint for fiscal year 2025, promising a lineup that includes the much-anticipated Assassin's Creed Codename Red and Star Wars Outlaws.

We had previously reported a leak suggesting that Assassin's Creed Red would be dropping later this year, and now Ubisoft has pretty much confirmed something along those lines. In the latest earnings call for Q3 2024, CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that the upcoming game will debut in fiscal year 2025, which ends on March 31, 2025.

Of course, this doesn't narrow down the actual release date, but traditionally, most Assassin's Creed titles have been released in the fall. Unless Ubisoft chooses to defy this long-standing tradition, it's safe to say that Ubisoft is targeting an October - November release window for Assassin's Creed Red.

Ubisoft Quebec will be helming the ambitious project that will transport players back in time to feudal Japan. There, players will dive into a Shinobi fantasy, which rumors suggest will have a female protagonist. Besides this, there isn't much else in the way of information regarding the game's plot or gameplay.
