Tom Holland teases even more plot twists for Spider-Man: No Way Home

As you can see from the trailer, Holland isn't the only one returning for the third film. We can also see Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange in the film, along with several returning characters from completely unrelated film universes. This includes Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin, as well as two unnamed actors who will be playing the role of Dr. Curt Connors or Lizard and Sandman. What other plot twists should we expect from No Way Home? If No Way Home is Tom Holland's last outing in the MCU, then it's safe to say that he'll be going out with a bang.

Instagram account

to let audiences know that "things are only going to get crazier."

Judging by how much the actual films tend to deviate from their trailers in the MCU (and for the better), we know that Holland wasn't bluffing. Because of this, fans are already busy dissecting and speculating in an attempt to try and make sense of what's going to happen in No Way Home. However, when you consider Holland's words, it wouldn't be crazy to think that the events in the trailer were taken from the first twenty minutes or so of the upcoming MCU film.

Remember, as hype-inducing as seeing Molina's Doc Ock is in action, it is still speculation that both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are going to appear in No Way Home. Who knows? Maybe even James Franco might return to reprise his role.

Lucky for us, all questions will be answered soon as Spider-Man: No Way Home premieres in theaters on December 17.
