For a while, the world could not get enough of Tom Holland. After leading the way for the record-breaking multiversal MCU entry, Spider-Man: No Way Home, in December, Tom also starred in another certified hit by Sony, Uncharted.
Both films solidified Holland and his status as a box office draw. This all but confirmed that he'll reprise his role as Peter Parker in another Spider-Man 4. But, while Holland made Sony and Disney (well, mostly Sony) a lot of money, Holland reportedly isn't sure to return - yet.
The Ankler claims that while Sony is working on multiple Spider-Man projects, Holland isn't part of one. At least, not yet.
The exclusive report states that while Sony and Marvel Studios are eager to work on a new Holland-led Spiderman trilogy, the actor himself has not "signed a deal yet." He adds that Sony and Marvel Studios' plans "remain unofficial for now.
While this is worrying, the author does reassure fans that there's no need for concern. Sony wants to resign Holland to another deal, one that will likely include the still-unconfirmed Uncharted sequel. Or, at least, that's what the writer would like us to believe.
