There are very few actors that are so integral to franchises that they are effectively irreplaceable. For a long time in the MCU, this role was occupied by Robert Downey Jr., who played the role of Tony Stark, otherwise known as Iron Man.
For more than a decade, the Golden Globe award-winning actor was the heart and soul of the MCU, which is a role that Joe Russo now believes is occupied by Tom Holland.
How long will Tom Holland stick around in the MCU?
Tom Holland first joined the MCU back in 2016's Captain America: Civil War as the newest Spider-Man. Since then, he's appeared in several crossover MCU films and starred in a handful of his own movies. The latest of which is Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, ahead of the premiere of the Jon Watts-directed superhero flick, there have been rumblings as to how long Holland is going to keep on playing Spider-Man in the MCU.
