We're only a handful of days away from the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters around the world and the hype surrounding the upcoming MCU film is unbelievable. However, despite already coming close to Avengers: Endgame's record for ticket pre-sales numbers, it appears that Marvel Studios and Sony still aren't done marketing the film to audiences around the globe.
If the rumors are to be believed, Sony and Marvel Studios are preparing to launch a third No Way Home trailer.
Is Sony and Marvel Studios going to release a third No Way Home trailer?
Normally, the marketing for an MCU film takes place months if not a year before the movie premieres. Unfortunately, a combination of several factors affected Marvel Studios and Sony's efforts. For one, there's the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, Sony and Marvel had several other movies slated for a 2021 release as well. Case in point, Marvel Studios released Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Eternals just a few months apart. Meanwhile, Sony had to market Venom: Let There be Carnage.
