Known Leaker Claims Third AC Valhalla DLC Will Be Set in Zvarthalheim

After talking about Muspelheim as the possible setting for the third Valhalla DLC, j0nathan now claims that it will be set in Zvarthalheim instead. Meanwhile, Muspelheim is still in the cards. Albeit, not as the setting for the third Valhalla DLC, but for the fourth one.

In Norse mythology, Zvarthalheim, or Svartálfaheimr, is the underground home of the Dark Elves, otherwise more commonly known as the Dwarfs. It is believed to have been located in the borders of Jötunheimr (the Realm of the Giants) and Helheimr (or Hel).

Now, we understand that this is a lot to take in. This is why we're recommending that you take this info with a grain of salt.

Of course, if this leak is indeed true, then it puts Ubisoft's earlier "confirmation" into question. Ubisoft subtly confirmed Muspelheim as the next setting for the third Valhalla DLC. At the same time, the studio did not explicitly state the confirmation pertains to the third DLC. This means that Muspelheim could still be the location for a future Valhalla DLC (like the fourth one). It's just that it won't be the setting for the next DLC after The Siege of Paris.

Ultimately, this is all speculation. At the end of the day, j0nathan is a leaker and not an official Ubisoft spokesperson, regardless of how much most of the stuff that he previously talked about is true.

Until Ubisoft outright confirms or announces the setting for the next Valhalla DLC, nothing is set in stone. Then again, judging by how the first set of DLCs for Valhalla went about ignoring the ISU storyline aspect of the base game, it certainly seems like they are making up for it by focusing more on the overarching narrative in future Valhalla DLCs.
