The FX television series Sons of Anarchy was one of the most popular and successful shows of the 2000s. It spawned a spin-off, Mayans M. C., which premiered in 2018 and has run for four successful seasons, with the fifth one in production. Even if Kurt Sutter has hinted several times that he desires to further expand the universe, FX hasn't given him a go-ahead. But, it appears to have changed.
According to Theo Rossi, one of the show's cast members, Sons of Anarchy might be returning to television screens soon.
During an appearance at the Soho Works panel discussion of Emily the Criminal last Friday, the actor and producer told Deadline, "There might be something coming up where we're all back together, which is insane. If it happens, it's wild, but if it doesn't, it would be perfect and really cool because we [himself and the rest of the Sons of Anarchy cast] also talk every day."
When asked if the project is a movie, the actor gave a coy response stating that the project is different and cool.
