Season 3 of The Witcher is almost upon us, which means it will soon be time to say goodbye to Henry Cavill. While many fans are not yet ready to let go of the Superman actor, the show's producer already has plans on how to transition to new lead actor Liam Hemsworth.

Steve Gaub and Tomek Baginski, executive producers of The Witcher, recently talked about the upcoming season in an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment. The producers revealed some details about Cavill's final scenes as Geralt and how the showrunners plan to integrate its next star into the series.

"It's a very strong season for Henry, a great final run for him as Geralt," Gaub said in the interview. "I think the most important thing for us was to make sure he was very proud of those last [scenes], invariably those last moments are the ones you leave an audience with, and those last couple episodes are very strong episodes for him."

He adds, "I think he left with his head held high and passing the reins as many franchises end up doing, passing a title character from one actor to another, and we're going to be in great hands with Liam."
