The Walking Dead has proven to be one of the most lucrative television franchises. The original show ran for 11 seasons between 2010 and 2022 with the final episode making its debut last November. It has also spawned five spinoffs, including the upcoming The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.
Ahead of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon's premiere in a few days, AMC has unveiled a teaser that shows the titular character journeying through Paris. The trailer opens with Daryl looking into the distance. He is on a boat on what we assume is the River Seine given we can see the famed Eiffel Tower in the background.
Next, we see a close-up shot of the Eiffel Tower, which confirms our suspicion. In keeping with what we have seen across The Walking Dead universe, the tower is battered and in such a huge state of disrepair that it evokes imaginations of a collapse.
We also hear Dixon saying, "My name's Daryl Dixon. If I don't make it back, I want 'em to know I tried."
At 15 seconds long, the teaser hardly gives us a glimpse of the upcoming show. However, we expect AMC to release a full-length trailer at the San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 21, that will give us a better insight into what we can expect from the series.
