Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has starred in several movies since going Hollywood full-time, following a storied and legendary WWE career. However, even someone with his star power can't single-handedly change the public's perception of video game movies. Case in point, his previous outings, such as 2005's Doom and 2018's Rampage, weren't as big of a hit compared to his other films.
Of course, just because Johnson's attempts at live-action video game adaptations haven't done well, this doesn't mean he plans on stopping. The Hollywood superstar confirmed a few days ago that he's signed on to be a part of a new video game movie.
A few days later, there are reports that one of Johnson's projects is a Call of Duty movie.
reports that Johnson will star in a Call of Duty film. The same report adds that Call of Duty matches the description of the franchise that he described as the "biggest and baddest" just a few days ago. We don't know if Johnson is a big Call of Duty fan, but we know that he's into video games. At the very least, we shouldn't discount Giant Freakin Robot outright. Then again, we shouldn't believe the report entirely either, so take whatever you just said with a grain of salt.
