Following the trend of introducing new free games for the Xbox Live Gold subscribers every other month, Microsoft has officially revealed the free Games with Gold games for October 2022.
In an official news wire post, Xbox revealed the new Games with Gold lineup. Like always, the Xbox Live Gold members will get exclusive access to the stated games for a limited time period.
Xbox Live Gold allows players to try out triple-A games for free and gives them a chance to purchase certain digital games from the Xbox store at a discount.
Earlier this year, Xbox implemented major changes to their Xbox Games with Gold feature available to the Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Xbox announced that the Xbox Games with Gold would no longer feature games from the Xbox 360.
Before the announcement, Microsoft always featured two Xbox 360 games and two Xbox One games for the Gold subscribers. However, this has since been changed to include only two Xbox One games, with the last Xbox 360 game appearing in September of 2022.
