Soon it will be time to re-enter The Matrix, with the fourth installment of the iconic and divisive sci-fi series scheduled to arrive in cinemas and on HBO Max.

While we still know very little about the movie itself, a few key details have been confirmed, and at CinemaCon the flick's title has been revealed as well - alongside some surprise footage exclusively shown to attendees.

The Matrix Resurrections, as it will be called, is going to be the fourth main installment of the franchise following the main trilogy and the Animatrix spin-off. While only attendees of CinemaCon were privy to the preview footage, nobody had to sign any NDAs, so reactions and verbal descriptions have been shared.

Warner Bros. presented what was essentially a sizzle reel of very rapidly cut moments from The Matrix Resurrections' action scenes, so not much of the story has been spoiled for those who saw it - it's just a short teaser. A few brief scenes of story also appeared, but out of context - Neo meets with a doctor played by Neil Patrick Harris, and also has a run in with Trinity.
