The Writers Guild of America strike has hit the three-month mark since it started on May 2, causing a major standstill in Hollywood. Production delays have plagued numerous shows, putting them on indefinite hold. However, there is a silver lining amidst the chaos: Amazon Prime Video's Gen V, the spin-off of The Boys, remains unaffected.

The Boys: Gen V is set to release as planned this fall, according to Variety. The R-rated superhero series, which centers around superpowered teenagers, finished filming last September and is now in post-production. Despite the looming possibility of another strike, this time involving the actors, Gen V will still make its premiere later this year.

The stalemate between the WGA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers doesn't seem like it will be coming to an end anytime soon, and to make matters worse, The Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) might be joining the strike party sooner than we thought.

The American labor union, which represents film and television actors, journalists, voice actors, and other media professionals, is gearing up to go on strike tomorrow unless a fair deal is reached by 11:59 p.m. PT today. In the past, it had organized strikes centered around dealings in the video game industry, among others.
