Batman isn't the type of hero to brute force his way out of things and his gadgets reflect that. The Batmobile, in particular, has often been depicted as a svelte and fast car. Even Christopher Nolan's take on the iconic Batman vehicle was reportedly inspired by a certain 70s Lamborghini model and a tank. However, for The Batman, it appears that Matt Reeves is going with what's arguably the chunkiest version of the vehicle yet.
Matt Reeves' "more grounded" Batman gets a fitting Batmobile
If it isn't already clear by now, Matt Reeves' The Batman film is unlike anything else we've seen before. It features Robert Pattinson as the titular hero in a more gritty film that places the caped crusader in his earlier days. Perhaps, because of his lack of refinement as a neophyte Defender of Gotham, the movie gives him a bulkier vehicle that looks nothing like the Batmobiles we've seen in the past.
