The Turtles are back! After being announced three years ago, the first trailer for the upcoming movie is finally here.
Paramount Pictures has released the first teaser for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, the second animated film that will premiere in theaters for the franchise. The upcoming movie will be a reboot of 2007's TMNT and it will feature younger "teenage" Turtles who are just learning the ropes of being heroes.
The new trailer for the upcoming movie has a distinct animation comic-book animation style, reminiscent of Sony's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The latter won Best Animated Feature at the 91st Academy Awards.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will be a reboot of the film series and an origins story for the "teenage" Turtles. The plot puts an emphasis on the "teenage" story with the young turtles learning the ropes. They will be fighting familiar foes like Rocksteady and Bebop. However, Shredder doesn't seem to be a part of the movie.
