Rockstar Games recently announced a remaster of the original Red Dead Redemption for the Nintendo Switch, and much more confusingly, also the PS4 - and that's it. With the new ports, fans have been asking about the possibility of the game coming to PC - when they're not voicing concerns over the exaggerated price, that is.

Luckily, Take-Two may be open to developing a PC port for Red Dead Redemption. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick recently spoke with IGN about the possibility of a PC version of the popular open-world action adventure game. According to Zelnick, he will leave it to the development team to decide on a PC port.

"It depends on the vision that the creative teams have for a title, and in the absence of having a powerful vision, for something that we would do with a title, we might bring it in its original form, we've done that, and in certain instances we might remaster or remake, so it really depends on the title and how the label feels about it, the platform, and what we think the opportunity is for consumers."

Rockstar will have options if ever it decides to do a PC version of Red Dead Redemption. The studio can either port, remaster, or remake the title for PC. That said, the absence of a PC port in the current release points towards a remaster or remake.
