It appears that Slyvester Stallone is making full use of his time now that he's finally said goodbye to the Rocky franchise following his last appearance in 2018's Creed II. In addition to the other films that he's already filming and set to star in for the next year, it appears that Sly is coming back for another go at the MCU as he just confirmed that he'll reprise his role as Stakar Ogord, otherwise known as Starhawk, in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Stallone slyly confirms that he's returning to the MCU
The 75-year-old actor went on Instagram to confirm his return for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. But, he didn't announce it either
Instead, Stallone used a post wherein he showcased what he described as what "goes on behind the scenes for filmmaking." He then takes audiences through the process of what filmmakers use to make sure that they can capture "every expression you could have" so that the filmmakers can duplicate your face in case "you're not around." He then says that moviemaking has "become a science". In the second clip, Sly poses with the equipment used by Marvel Studios for their films.
