Konami came up big at the May PlayStation Showcase with the announcements of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
While the latter is definitely the bigger game of the two, the former is currently the focus of many as it's set to come out sooner. In its initial announcement, the highly anticipated collection was confirmed for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X as well as the PC via Steam.
Now, thanks to the latest Nintendo Direct showcase, we've found out that it will be on the Nintendo Switch as well.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of this definitive collection, which includes Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, as well as Snake's Revenge. The good news is that the wait is almost over. The collection is slated for release on October 24, with the entire thing priced at $59.99. However, if you would like to buy each game individually Konami will be selling Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, for $19.99 each.
