Several decades after humans left the now-defunct multiple dinosaur-breeding islands from the original Jurassic Park trilogy, someone decided to open the islands up to a much larger audience and turn it into a deadlier version of Disneyland. Things were okay for a while, as the park in 2015's Jurassic World was already operational for a decade. Unfortunately, things happened and by the time 2018's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ended, the status quo had changed and humans went from apex predator to helpless prey.

Such is the premise of Jurassic World Dominion, which was part of the star-studded slate of trailers at Super Bowl LVI. The new trailer follows up on the one released earlier, which sees the original Jurassic Park trio reunite alongside BD Wong's Dr. Henry Wu, who is pretty much established as the series' overarching villain at this point.
