It has been an amazing year for strategy and tactical RPG games, and adding to the ranks is a new Nintendo Exclusive strategy RPG coming to PC. Triangle Strategy is right up your alley if you’re into a tactical RPG that revolves around intricate storytelling, a strategic combat system, and a detailed plot based on your choices.
Square Enix’s Triangle Strategy was originally released exclusively for Nintendo Switch earlier this year. The game is similar to Final Fantasy Tactics, also published by Square Enix. Triangle Strategy is developed by Artdink under a talented team led by Tomoya Asano.
The same team is also responsible for popular recent releases such as the Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent and Bravely Default series. Like the Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default, the new HD-2D game garnered many positive reviews, and it was only right for it to be released for PC players as well.
Square Enix, through Twitter, recently announced that the PC players wouldn’t have to wait for too long to get their hands on Triangle Strategy. Triangle Strategy is a clear Steam Deck candidate and may be optimized extremely well for the handheld device. The game is set to release on October 13, 2022.
A hero leads. They must make difficult decisions that could mean life or death for their allies. They must steel their resolve and their blade to see their mission through.

Triangle Strategy is currently available to pre-order on Steam for PC players. Square Enix has also given a 10% off bonus to those who manage to pre-order the game before October 13, 2022, release date.
