The One Piece franchise, a cornerstone of the anime world, is set to embark on yet another adventure with Netflix. The industry leading streaming platform's latest collaboration with Wit Studio, known for their work on Attack on Titan and Spy x Family, will produce a fresh anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's legendary manga.

The One Piece isn't your typical remake. It's less Dragon Ball Kai, which was, effectively, a shorter and revised version of Dragon Ball Z, and more of a Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood to Fullmetal Alchemist. So, basically, this reimagining will use better, cutting-edge visuals to enhance the storytelling, which should be more in line with the manga, for better or for worse.
