The highly-anticipated and well-received Final Fantasy prequel is now available for PC players to purchase via Steam. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is an action-adventure hack-and-slash RPG developed by Team Ninja, Koei Tecmo, and Square Enix. Team Ninja is also responsible for games like Ni-Oh and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, so you can imagine how much of an action-packed game this would be.
Stranger of Paradise originally came out in March of 2022, but exclusively on Epic Games Store on PC. Those wanting to buy the Steam version had to wait. While it was quite predictable to see the game on Steam at some point, the price reduction caught everyone by surprise.
The standard edition of the game was originally available for $59.99 but was reduced to $39.99. Surprisingly, the game's standard edition launched on Steam with a permanently discounted price of $39.99, and the deluxe edition costs $59.99.
The game's deluxe edition contains all three post-launch DLC missions (Trials of the Dragon King, Wanderer of the Rift, and Different Future). So now those patiently waiting for the game to release on Steam can finally purchase it and add another game to their library.
