We're literally counting the hours before Star Wars Jedi: Survivor hit the store shelves. With the review embargo lifted, Star Wars fans can pass the time by checking out what critics have to say about the upcoming Star Wars game.

To no one's surprise, the sequel to 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is just as good as the original if not better.

Developed by Respawn Entertainment, Jedi: Survivor sees the now-scruffier and more seasoned Jedi Knight, Cal Kestis, go and explore a more hostile galaxy as he now must find a way to, not just survive, but rebuild the Jedi Order.

Respawn used what it built with the original game and create a more expansive world filled with so much more things to do. Unfortunately, it might have come at the expense of things to do. The open world, while massive, just can't justify its size outside of Respawn doing it for the sake of it. Meanwhile, some critics believe that Jedi: Survivor could have used a bit more polishing, which is ironic since this is the reason why Electronic Arts delayed the game by over six weeks.
