Spider-Man will lead the Avengers in Kang Dynasty

Peter Parker may be the only logical choice for leading the Avengers. Lok is the literal God of Mischief and Wanda Maximoff literally just played the role of a villain. Doctor Strange has potential but he can be too much of a maverick. America Chavez is still too young and inexperienced to take on a leading role as well. The other potential candidate is Scott Lang, who's also known as the Ant-Man, but he never really strikes you as sort to take on a leadership role.

Not that Peter Parker will be so much older by the time the next Avengers film rolls around but, don't forget, the MCU has billed Spider-Man as the protege of Iron Man for nearly a decade now and Tony Stark was the heart and soul of the MCU. It would be fitting for his mentee to take over his role.

Insider MyTimeToShineHello also adds that "Spider-Man 4 will come out before Secret Wars." This means that Spider-Man 4 may be the last big movie before Avengers: Secret Wars. However, Marvel may opt to add more movies should the overarching plot of the Multiverse Saga warrants it.

Marvel's Kevin Feige recently teased the studio has "big ideas" for the upcoming movie and that "writers are just putting pen to paper now." This puts into perspective how important Spider-Man 4 is to the continuity of the MCU.

Finally, there are rumors Spider-Man 4 may start filming by the end of the year. Given that Marvel wants Spider-Man to be the leader of the Avengers, we assume that the fourth film will be something epic. We hope to see something similar to Captain America: Civil War where most of the Avengers were present.
