It looks like Sony Pictures is applying the finishing touches to a more extensive trailer for its next animated Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
With roughly half a year left before Miles Morales and a host of Spider-Man variants swing their way into cinemas, Sony just confirmed when the next trailer for the Spider-Man sequel will arrive.
According to the new image uploaded throughout the film universe's official social media accounts, a "new view" of Across the Spider-Verse will arrive on December 13.
The first trailer for Across the Spider-Verse all but confirmed what was already on the minds of fans following the end of 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. However, apart from showing us a new unseen world and a glimpse at Spider-Man 2099, the trailer didn't really reveal anything else. This upcoming footage should be more telling of what to expect, even if we're pretty sure Sony will still find a way to keep us guessing until the credits start rolling.
But, while we know very little about the plot of Across the Spider-Verse, we do know that it will feature at least six major art styles. In comparison, the original only has a single art style dominating the entire film.
