Before Sucker Punch Productions worked on Ghost of Tsushima for the PS4, it made a name for itself making games revolving around a character that would eventually become one of PlayStation's most iconic mascots. Back in the days, the Sly Cooper series for the PS2 was right up there alongside the likes of Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, and Crash Bandicoot, among others.

Unfortunately, as Sucker Punch started working on other titles, specifically Infamous, Sanzaru Games would take over and release the last ever Sly Cooper title in 2013's Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

Since then, fans have been wondering if Sony intends to back and work on a new entry to one of its most underrated exclusives. According to an insider, Sly Cooper might be making a comeback for the PS5 in the next few years.
