She-Hulk season 2 rumored to be in development at Marvel

The work on the second season of the hit TV show will reportedly start after the strike.

The new rumor suggests that Marvel will work on She-Hulk Season 2 after the strike.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law ended in an insane cliffhanger and fans have been asking for Marvel to continue the TV series. It looks like viewers are getting their wish as it is rumored that a second season is moving forward, or at least will after the strikes end.

According to reliable insider MyTimeToShineHello, season 2 of She-Hulk is happening. However, Marvel is reportedly waiting for the conclusion of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes before starting work on the series.

She-Hulk season 2 is happening (or should I say will happen post-strikes),”  MyTimeToShineHello tweeted. Another insider Daniel Richtman replied to the tweet with a simple “W”.

Tatiana Maslany starred as Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk in the first season of the Disney+ series. The pilot season ran from August to October 2022 and focused on Walters juggling between her profession and being a superhero. The series also shed some light on her relationship with Daredevil and her family ties with the Incredible Hulk.

There will be no shortage of stories for season 2 as the ending for the first season touches on several different plot lines. However, it may be a while before we get a sophomore outing for She-Hulk. Marvel has not officially greenlit season 2 and the writer for the series, Jessica Gao, previously said that she will be working on Jade Giantess next.

“Honestly, even when I pitched the show, I already had an idea of where I would want it to go for another season and what the premise of that season would be. From the beginning, I had ideas of where it would go,” Gao said in August 2022. “There are a lot of things that we just couldn’t get to, or had to cut from the first season, and it would be really nice for those things to see the light of day again.”

She-Hulk writer Jessica Gao will be working on Jade Giantess next.

The rumor did not state when fans should expect a second season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Season 2 may premiere after the upcoming pair of Avengers movies which, according to Mark Ruffalo, will feature Jade Giantess.

However, there are reports that Marvel dropped screenwriters Jeff Loveness and Michael Waldron from Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, respectively, which may render Ruffalo’s information obsolete.

The Writers’ strike started on May 2 while the Actors headed for the picket lines on July 14. Both unions are negotiating with the studios for reasonable terms on compensation and residuals. The unions also want to regulate the use of AI in their respective fields.

The studios reportedly plan on returning to the negotiating table in October. So, it will be some time before Hollywood resumes work on all the shows and movies that have been put on hold.
